Jewish care is pleased to offer an opportunity for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our team Anita Dorfman Residential Care & Nursing Home, located in Stanmore, Hertfordshire. This is a prestigious new build development, which is part of our Sandringham Campus site. Phase 2 of this exciting development will be opening in early 2021, offering 48 one and two-bedroom retirement housing properties for rental.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring visitors, residents and families all have a positive impression of our senior care home by keeping residents’ rooms and common areas spotless and carrying out other general tasks within the housekeeping and wider hospitality team.

This post is working 35 hours per week over 5 out of 7 days and will include some weekend work.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll have an important role helping deliver all housekeeping activities to the highest standards within our Care Homes and Community Centres. Your role will involve:
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness
- Working safely & hygienically adhering to Health and Safety at Work
- Consistently delivering excellent customer service
- Responding to feedback to improve housekeeping services
Who we’re looking for
Ideally we’re looking for someone with experience in a similar role. You’ll be a great communicator with a flexible approach and the ability to work well within a team. You’ll also have a good understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety in the workplace, or a willingness to be trained in these areas.
